The Surratt Courier

I am happy to report that the May/June 2025 edition of The Surratt Courier has been posted on the Surratt Society website (travel and other life events have delayed us). This issue focuses on our April annual meeting of the Surratt Society and the two presentations by Paul Severance (who spoke on the Lincoln assassination conspirators' trial) and Frank Gorman (who spoke on the trial to exhume JW Booth's body from Green Mount Cemetery in Baltimore). Both were excellent! The rest of the issue relates to the identification of Booth and the myth that Booth escaped. The direct link is:
