I received this note today:
"Very sad to report that Steve Whitlock has passed away. I know he was active on the Lincoln Symposium and thought your readers would want to know. Steve was a partner in The Nancy Hanks Lincoln mtDNA Study and The Henry Reed Rathbone mtDNA Study; both of which can be viewed on the GeneticLincoln.com website.
