Again, I'm so grateful to have such a supportive community like this. Thank you.
I have to give a special shout out to Jim Garrett for being a such wonderful guide to all the Atzerodt sites up in Montgomery County. Due to him I was able to add a whole bunch of George related sites to my Lincoln assassination map. By the way, here is Kate, Jim, and I at Clopper Mill, where George Atzerodt spent the night of April 15th on his way to his cousin, Hartman Richter's, home. The old mill is in ruins now, but Jim and I still decided to see what sleeping here would have been like. ![]() ![]() ![]()
