Ruth Painter Randall is a whole lot more enjoyable to read than Herndon.
I've just started reading her "Mary Lincoln Biography of a Marriage", a vey interesting and pleasurable book to read. So far, she portrays a much softer, kinder side of Mary that I hadn't read about before.
So when is this "Old Enough To Know Better" supposed to kick in?
